Some analysts speculate that the 359$ launch price of the Kindle 2 is too high in this current economy. There are even rumors that the Kindle?s price will drop to 299$. As far as I know this is just speculation.
Kindle management has a positive outlook about the supply of the Kindle 2. In spite of continued sell outs and back orders of the first generation Kindle. Management is confident that the Kindle 2 supply will be able to meet demand.
